Description
Hose made of addivated polyolefin resin film with addition of bromine compounds/antimony trioxide and anti-bacterial/anti-mold master and steel wire helix.
Insulating coating in polyester fiber (sp. 25mm - 16 kg/m3). Aluminum film external protection.

Use
The ETSA10 THERM tube is used in air conditioning and mechanical ventilation applications with single or double flow and connection between grilles and diffusers. Thanks to its composition it is able to reduce the formation of condensation and the dispersion of heat.

ETSA10-Therm is manufactured with a polyolefin film enhanced with the active “Sanitized Antibacterial” principle, capable of reducing the microbial and bacterial load present inside the ducts and carried by the air, ensuring safety for both people and the environment. The ETSA10-Therm duct has undergone rigorous testing to validate the effectiveness of its antibacterial action against Staphylococcus aureus strains.
The product is already certified Class 1 for fire reaction performance and is available in two versions: Antibacterial and Non-Magnetic. From today, improving the quality of indoor air in confined environments such as Shopping Centers, Banks, Office Buildings, Offices, Laboratories, Nursing Homes, Retirement Homes, and Hospitals is easier thanks to ETSA10-Therm flexible ducts.
Research conducted by the DG JRC (Directorate-General Joint Research Centre of the European Commission) identified indoor air pollution as a primary risk factor. Indoor environments can be at least twice as polluted as outdoor environments, and indoor air quality has a significant impact on the well-being, productivity, and quality of life of occupants. Among the airborne particles commonly found in confined environments are dust mites, molds, bacteria, and pollen. These particles can cause or worsen respiratory diseases and conditions such as allergies, asthma, emphysema, and chronic lung diseases.
It is essential to prevent contamination by using products that do not release harmful chemical compounds into the environment. Bacteria, as well as fungi, germs, and molds, are naturally present in large quantities and in many different species. They settle on every type of material and can multiply extremely rapidly when humidity and temperature conditions favor their growth and proliferation. The presence of these unwanted microorganisms negatively affects the hygienic conditions of HVAC duct systems, causing, for example, unpleasant odors or the formation of stains due to the accumulation of bacteria, fungi, and molds, as well as triggering allergic reactions in individuals.
Installing HVAC duct systems with ETSA10-Therm flexible ducts reduces the risk of potential medical conditions related to the presence of bacteria in the air conveyed through the ductwork. In terms of public health, improving Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in indoor environments can potentially reduce building owners’ liability, increase property market value, and protect the health of occupants.
Supply and installation of flexible duct type ETSA10-Therm Ecoclima or equivalent, manufactured with an inner layer of polyolefin resins with antibacterial and antifungal protection, with thermoinsulation in polyester fiber (sp. 25 mm / 16 kg/mc) and integrated high-tensile steel wire helix. Suitable for MVHR systems, air conditioning and ventilation applications, with smooth inner surface to reduce pressure losses and maintain the duct section even at bending points. Operating temperature range from -20 °C to +90 °C with peaks up to +110 °C, maximum air velocity 20 m/s, maximum pressure 2000 Pa, and minimum bending radius equal to 0,6 times the diameter. Product compliant with EN 13180, duct airtightness Class D according to EN 12237 / EN 1507 / EN 12599, fire reaction Class B-s1,d0 according to EN 13501-1:2019 and Class 1 according to Italian Ministerial Decree D.M. 26/06/84. Available in diameters from 80 to 406mm in standard 10 m lengths, halogen-free and manufactured without the use of adhesives or glues.
